I was supposed to meet a little friend at the pool tonight to help her with swimming but she didn’t show so I took the opportunity to try a few things out. I only swam a total of 500 yards since I am supposed to swim tomorrow morning, but I did several drills. I swam with fists for 100 yards, breathed every 3 for 100 yards, swam arms only for 100, etc. It was a different kind of workout.
When I got home I jumped on the stationary bike for another 30 minutes just to get a little more workout in. I’m feeling kind of guilty about not being on the bike so I’m going to try to get in any miles I can.
Looks like the first time triathlons training group is going to be a go. It starts next weekend with an informational session so I’m excited to hear what they have to say. I kind of feel like I need a little help with all of this. Triathlon training is a lot bigger than I thought.
