Good LAWD it was cold this morning!  As we were stretching out after the run several of us noticed that those with longer hair or beards had become quite frosty during the run.  Too funny.  One of our favorite targets to tease loves his long hair and all the tips were frosted!  We suggested that it was a good look for him and that he should consider making it a feature.  Of course he fired back at me that at least he “HAD” hair…

Touche!

The run today was a tribute to the Missouri Tigers to wish them well this weekend as they face the improbable task of taking down the juggernaut that is the Oklahoma Sooners.  It could be ugly so we decided that they needed all the help they could get so the run wound its way through campus making sure to touch all the lucky landmarks along the way.  Of course, this had us hopping up on statues, ringing a really loud bell over 50 times before 6 am, running across grass (read: slick as sh!T) and various other unsafe and barely legal acts to send good Juju to the Tigers.  It’s actually a really fun run.  I wish we would do it more.

By the way… The (completely unofficial) temperature at the start of the run (according to the temp guage on my truck) was… 11.  As in E-LE-VEN frickin’ degrees.  Yeah… Winter is here.

Go Tigers!
