Back up over a mile!

Distance: 1.25 mi running, .5 mi walking (treadmill)

Time: run started at 10 min pace and then sped up to 8:30 for last quarter!!

Miles to go: 1997.75

So why is it that I actually feel better when I run FASTER?  Running slow hurts.  I don’t get it.  Anyway, in general, I’m sore but not intolerable.  I think it’s just going to be this way for a while.  It seems to have settled in to my lower abs.  I get an occasional twinge in a glute or a hammy, but nothing major.  I’d like to say it’s MUCH better, but it’s only marginally better.  I’m not sure if it’s just because the muscles in that area are weak or if it’s not completely healed yet.  I guess only the doc can tell me that and I don’t see him until next Wednesday.  Until then I guess I just see how much damage I can do to myself.

This weekend is supposed to be in the 60s!  I am actually considering running… outside

…scary.  I get all tingly just thinking about it…
