Time for LSD

Made you look!  Actually my LSD is Sunday (Long… Slow… Distance…)

I am going to take today off.  I had to re-arrange my schedule a bit when I got hurt last weekend and wanted to test my wheels a bit so I ran 4 days straight and my legs are a little tired.  A day off today and a light run tomorrow should have me ready for my longest run yet of 14 miles on Sunday.

My long runs used to be something I approached with a lot of self doubt and trepidation.  But once I cleared 10 miles, something changed.  Now I look forward to them.  And the longer the run, the more curious I am about it.  I “want” to run big distances.  It’s almost like I am searching for my limits.  I was so surprised that I was able to run again, and then run a little further, and then run a little faster than I ever thought possible, that now I wonder just how far I can go.  I guess it’s a bit of self discovery (kinda late in life… I know…).

LSD…end up running all night long and wake up in custody in some unknown town , where the sherriff already doesn’t like you and you are naked….. better to stick with the slow pace Leap!

Yeah… but does he not like you because you ran into town in the middle of the night… or because you are nekkid…?
